The shop sits on US Highway 45 just outside Mattoon, and the machines work a 60-mile radius out of it. We help figure out what permits are needed and call in the utility locates. You call the electric, gas, and water companies to shut off service to the structure — they only take that request from the account holder. We handle the private side: pulling or capping the well, getting the propane tank removed, and capping the sewer.
If there's old barn wood, metal roofing, or fixtures you want to keep, we pull them carefully before the main demo starts.
The Komatsu does the heavy work. We work the structure down in a controlled sequence — no surprises, no dropping things on what's nearby.
We break out the foundation if it's part of the job, separate metals when possible, and load debris onto dump trucks for proper disposal.
